Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures
The amount of the benefits for unemployment, etc. for a person who received benefits for unemployment, etc. whose amount was calculated as pertaining to the period from August 1, 2004 to March 17, 2019 (hereinafter referred to as the "period subject to change" in this Article and the following Article) (where two or more benefits for unemployment, etc. were received during the period subject to change, the amount of each of those two or more benefits for unemployment, etc.) is the amount obtained by adding, to the amount set out in item (i), the amount obtained by multiplying the amount obtained by deducting the amount set out in item (ii) from the amount set out in item (i) (where that amount is less than zero, it is zero) by the rate determined by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare:
the amount of the benefits for unemployment, etc. for the period subject to change, calculated by applying the amount subject to automatic changing prescribed in Article 18, paragraph (4) of the Employment Insurance Act (Act No. 116 of 1974), the amount of deduction prescribed in Article 19, paragraph (1), item (i) of that Act, and the payment amount limit prescribed in Article 61, paragraph (1), item (ii) of that Act, as changed in accordance with the ratio by which the average earnings of the fiscal year under Article 18, paragraph (1) of that Act that were changed on or after March 18, 2019 rose or fell (hereinafter referred to as the "new amounts subject to automatic changing, etc.");
平成三十一年三月十八日以後に変更された雇用保険法（昭和四十九年法律第百十六号）第十八条第一項の年度の平均給与額の上昇し、又は低下した比率に応じて変更された同条第四項に規定する自動変更対象額、同法第十九条第一項第一号に規定する控除額及び同法第六十一条第一項第二号に規定する支給限度額（以下「新自動変更対象額等」という。）を適用し算定した変更対象期間に係る失業等給付の額
