Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act

①In the case where the day of separation from service pertaining to the recipient qualification is before the day of enforcement of this Ministerial Order (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), with regard to the notification under Article 12-2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "former Employment Insurance Ordinance"), the provisions then in force continue to govern.

②With regard to the reasons specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under Article 23, paragraph (2), item (ii) of the Employment Insurance Act (Act No. 116 of 1974) pertaining to a qualified recipient for whom the day of separation from service pertaining to the recipient qualification is before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

③With regard to the payment of the regular employment preparation allowance to a qualified recipient, etc. who, before the Effective Date, took stable employment prescribed in Article 82-3, paragraph (1) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act, and who is a person prescribed in Article 82-3, paragraph (2), item (ii) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

④With regard to the payment of the support benefit for job-seeking activities, etc. to an employer that came to be able to receive payment of that support benefit for job-seeking activities, etc. pursuant to Article 102-5, paragraph (2) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑤With regard to the payment of the grant for employment development of specified persons with difficulty in finding employment to an employer that came to be able to receive payment of that grant pursuant to Article 110, paragraph (2) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑥With regard to the payment of the grant for employment development of persons in need of urgent employment support to an employer that came to be able to receive payment of that grant pursuant to Article 110, paragraph (3) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑦With regard to the payment of the grant for securing core human resources in small and medium-sized enterprises to a certified small and medium-sized enterprise that came to be able to receive payment of that grant pursuant to Article 118, paragraph (3) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑧The employment insurance notification of acquisition of insured status under Form No. 2 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance notification of loss of insured status and the employment insurance notification of change of name under Form No. 4 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance separation certificate under Form No. 5 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the notification of termination of exchange appointment with continued employment under Form No. 9-2 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance notification of transfer under Form No. 10 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the written application for extension of the benefit period under Form No. 16 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the notification of designation of the desired financial institution for payment and the notification of change of the desired financial institution for payment under Form No. 18 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the written application for educational training benefits under Form No. 33-2 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the continuous employment benefits for the elderly qualification confirmation form / (initial) written application for continuous employment benefits for the elderly under Form No. 33-3 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance certificate of wages on reaching age 60, etc. under Form No. 33-4 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the childcare leave-related benefits qualification confirmation form / (initial) written application for basic childcare leave benefits under Form No. 33-5 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the application for nursing care leave benefits under Form No. 33-6 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, and the employment insurance notification of acquisition of insured status (new) summary sheet for submission of flexible disks under Form No. 35 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance that are actually submitted at the time of enforcement of this Ministerial Order are deemed to be, respectively, the employment insurance notification of acquisition of insured status under Form No. 2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "new Employment Insurance Ordinance"), the employment insurance notification of loss of insured status and the employment insurance notification of change of name under Form No. 4 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance separation certificate under Form No. 5 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the notification of termination of exchange appointment with continued employment under Form No. 9-2 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance notification of transfer under Form No. 10 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the written application for extension of the benefit period under Form No. 16 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the notification of designation of the desired financial institution for payment and the notification of change of the desired financial institution for payment under Form No. 18 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the written application for educational training benefits under Form No. 33-2 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the continuous employment benefits for the elderly qualification confirmation form / (initial) written application for continuous employment benefits for the elderly under Form No. 33-3 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance certificate of wages on reaching age 60, etc. under Form No. 33-4 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the childcare leave-related benefits qualification confirmation form / (initial) written application for basic childcare leave benefits under Form No. 33-5 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the application for nursing care leave benefits under Form No. 33-6 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, and the employment insurance notification of acquisition of insured status (new) summary sheet for submission of flexible disks under Form No. 35 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance.

⑨The employment insurance separation slip under Form No. 6 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance written notice of confirmation of acquisition of insured status under Form No. 6-2 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance written notice of confirmation of loss of insured status under Form No. 6-3 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance, and the employment insurance insured person's certificate under Form No. 7 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance that are actually issued at the time of enforcement of this Ministerial Order are deemed to be, respectively, the employment insurance separation slip under Form No. 6 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance written notice of confirmation of acquisition of insured status under Form No. 6-2 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance written notice of confirmation of loss of insured status under Form No. 6-3 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, and the employment insurance insured person's certificate under Form No. 7 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance.

⑩The employment insurance notification of acquisition of insured status under Article 6, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance notification of loss of insured status under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance separation certificate under Article 7, paragraph (1), item (i) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance separation slip under Article 7, paragraph (2) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance written notice of confirmation of acquisition of insured status and the employment insurance written notice of confirmation of loss of insured status under Article 9, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance insured person's certificate under Article 10, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the notification of termination of exchange appointment with continued employment under Article 12-2 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance notification of transfer under Article 13, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the employment insurance notification of change of name under Article 14, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the written application for extension of the benefit period under Article 31, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the notification of designation of the desired financial institution for payment under Article 45, paragraph (2) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the notification of change of the desired financial institution for payment under Article 45, paragraph (3) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the written application for educational training benefits under Article 101-2-8, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the continuous employment benefits for the elderly qualification confirmation form / (initial) written application for continuous employment benefits for the elderly and the employment insurance certificate of wages on reaching age 60, etc. under Article 101-5, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the childcare leave-related benefits qualification confirmation form / (initial) written application for basic childcare leave benefits under Article 101-13, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, the application for nursing care leave benefits under Article 101-19, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance, and the employment insurance notification of acquisition of insured status (new) summary sheet for submission of flexible disks under Article 146, paragraph (1) of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance may, for the time being, continue to be in the corresponding forms of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance.
