Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Ministerial Order comes into effect as of the date of promulgation, and the provisions of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act after amendment (referred to as the "New Ordinance" in paragraph (2) of the following Article) and the provisions of the following Article and Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions apply as from April 1, 1978.

第二条（経過措置）
With regard to payment of the employment stability benefit for elderly persons under Article 102-7, item (i) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment, pertaining to hiring on a day before April 1, 1978, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
昭和五十三年四月一日前の日における雇入れに係る改正前の雇用保険法施行規則第百二条の七第一号の高年齢者雇用安定給付金の支給については、なお従前の例による。
For the application of the provisions of Article 102-8, paragraph (3) of the New Ordinance, an employer that received or attempted to receive payment of the employment stability benefit for elderly persons referred to in the preceding paragraph by deception or other wrongful acts is deemed to be an employer that received or attempted to receive payment of the employment development benefit for middle-aged and older persons under Article 102-7, item (i) of the New Ordinance by deception or other wrongful acts.
