As the programs listed in Article 63, paragraph (1), item (i) of the Act, programs of providing the authorized training grant for wide-area organizations and the subsidy for authorized training assistance project expenses are to be carried out.

①The authorized training grant for wide-area organizations is to be paid to a small and medium-sized enterprise employers' association (limited to one whose members extend across two or more prefectures) or a federation thereof that conducts authorized vocational training prescribed in Article 24, paragraph (3) of the Vocational Abilities Development Promotion Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 27-2, paragraph (2) of that Act) (hereinafter referred to as "authorized training") for small and medium-sized enterprise employers who are its members or members of the organizations constituting the federation, and that is found to need assistance in order to promote authorized training.

②The amount of the authorized training grant for wide-area organizations is 1/2 (2/3 in the case of a federation of national small and medium-sized enterprise employers' associations) of the amount calculated, with regard to the expenses required for the operation of authorized training conducted by the small and medium-sized enterprise employers' association or federation thereof prescribed in the preceding paragraph, in accordance with the standards determined by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, taking into consideration the type, scale, etc. of vocational training (where that amount exceeds the amount required for those expenses in that fiscal year, that amount).

The subsidy for authorized training assistance project expenses is to be granted to prefectures that provide the assistance or aid necessary for promoting authorized training conducted by employers, etc. prescribed in Article 13 of the Vocational Abilities Development Promotion Act (limited to small and medium-sized enterprise employers in the case of employers, and to small and medium-sized enterprise employers' associations or federations thereof in the case of employers' associations or federations thereof), in an amount equivalent to 1/2 of the amount pertaining to the assistance or aid provided by the prefecture for expenses amounting to the amount calculated, with regard to the expenses listed in the following items, respectively in accordance with the standards determined by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, taking into consideration the type, scale, etc. of vocational training (where that amount exceeds the amount required for those expenses in that fiscal year, that amount) (where that amount equivalent to 1/2 exceeds an amount equivalent to 1/3 of the amount calculated in accordance with those standards (where that amount exceeds the amount required for those expenses in that fiscal year, that amount), an amount equivalent to that 1/3):

As the programs listed in Article 63, paragraph (1), items (i), (iv), (v) and (ix) of the Act, the human resources development support grant (of the human resources development support grant, the grant for the Construction Worker Authorized Training Course and the grant for the Construction Worker Skills Practical Training Course mean those paid on the basis of Article 9, item (ii) of the Construction Work Act; the same applies in paragraphs (1) and (4) of the following Article) is to be paid.
