Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Ministerial Order comes into effect as of April 1, 2017; provided, however, that the amending provisions in Article 1 to Article 28-3, paragraph (1), item (ii) and paragraph (2) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act, the amending provision that adds one Article after Article 28-4 of that Ordinance, and the amending provision to Article 36, paragraph (1), item (iv), (a) of that Ordinance, and the provisions of Article 3, come into effect as of August 1 of the same year.
この省令は、平成二十九年四月一日から施行する。ただし、第一条中雇用保険法施行規則第二十八条の三第一項第二号及び第二項の改正規定、第二十八条の四の次に一条を加える改正規定並びに第三十六条第一項第四号イの改正規定並びに第三条の規定は、同年八月一日から施行する。

第二条（雇用保険法施行規則の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 100-2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "new Employment Insurance Ordinance" in this Article) apply to a person for whom the day of commencing the educational training pertaining to the short-term training attendance expenses prescribed in Article 95-2, item (ii) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act (hereinafter referred to as "educational training" in this paragraph) is on or after the day of enforcement of this Ministerial Order (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date" in this Article), and the provisions then in force continue to govern the application of Article 100-2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "former Employment Insurance Ordinance" in this Article) to a person for whom the day of commencing educational training is before the Effective Date.
第一条の規定による改正後の雇用保険法施行規則（以下この条において「新雇保則」という。）第百条の二の規定は、雇用保険法施行規則第九十五条の二第二号に規定する短期訓練受講費に係る教育訓練（以下この項において「教育訓練」という。）を開始した日がこの省令の施行の日（以下この条において「施行日」という。）以後である者について適用し、教育訓練を開始した日が施行日前である者に係る第一条の規定による改正前の雇用保険法施行規則（以下この条において「旧雇保則」という。）第百条の二の規定の適用については、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 100-6 of the new Employment Insurance Ordinance apply to a person for whom the day of using the childcare and similar services prescribed in Article 100-6 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act pertaining to the expenses for using services for job-seeking activities prescribed in Article 95-2, item (iii) of that Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as "childcare and similar services" in this paragraph) is on or after the Effective Date, and the provisions then in force continue to govern the application of Article 100-6 of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance to a person for whom the day of using childcare and similar services is before the Effective Date.
新雇保則第百条の六の規定は、雇用保険法施行規則第九十五条の二第三号に規定する求職活動関係役務利用費に係る同令第百条の六に規定する保育等サービス（以下この項において「保育等サービス」という。）を利用した日が施行日以後である者について適用し、保育等サービスを利用した日が施行日前である者に係る旧雇保則第百条の六の規定の適用については、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the application of Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance to a person for whom the day of separation from service pertaining to the recipient qualification (meaning the qualification to receive payment of basic allowance pursuant to Article 13, paragraph (1) of the Employment Insurance Act (Act No. 116 of 1974) (including where applied with replaced terms pursuant to paragraph (2) of that Article)) is before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
