Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment, Etc. of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act

第二条（雇用保険法施行規則の一部改正等に伴う経過措置）

With regard to an employment development promotion area or deemed area prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Promotion of Regional Employment Development, etc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Amending Act") (such areas are hereinafter referred to as "employment development promotion areas, etc.") that falls under each of the following items, the provisions of Article 112, paragraph (2) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Ordinance") do not apply until the last day of the deemed designation period prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Amending Act pertaining to those employment development promotion areas, etc. (in the case where that period is extended or shortened pursuant to the provisions of the latter part of Article 2, paragraph (2) of the Act on Promotion of Regional Employment Development, etc. as amended by the Amending Act (hereinafter referred to as the "New Act"), the period as so extended or shortened; referred to as the "deemed designation period" in the following paragraph).

地域雇用開発等促進法の一部を改正する法律（以下「改正法」という。）附則第二条第一項に規定する雇用開発促進地域又はみなし地域（以下「雇用開発促進地域等」という。）であって次の各号のいずれにも該当するものについては、当該雇用開発促進地域等に係る同項に規定するみなし指定期間（当該期間が改正法による改正後の地域雇用開発等促進法（以下「新法」という。）第二条第二項後段の規定により延長され、又は短縮された場合においては、当該延長され、又は短縮された期間。次項において「みなし指定期間」という。）の末日までの間、第二条の規定による改正後の雇用保険法施行規則（以下「新規則」という。）第百十二条第二項の規定は、適用しない。

being an area other than an area that, at the time of enforcement of this Ministerial Order, fell under a structural improvement promotion area prescribed in Article 112, paragraph (2), item (i), (a), (1) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Ordinance");

この省令の施行の際、第二条の規定による改正前の雇用保険法施行規則（以下「旧規則」という。）第百十二条第二項第一号イ（１）に規定する構造改善促進地域に該当していた地域以外の地域であること。

being an area other than an area that, at the time of enforcement of this Ministerial Order, fell under the districts designated by the Minister of Labour prescribed in Article 112, paragraph (2), item (i), (a), (2) of the Former Ordinance.

この省令の施行の際、旧規則第百十二条第二項第一号イ（２）に規定する労働大臣が指定する区域に該当していた地域以外の地域であること。

With regard to employment development promotion areas, etc. that fall under item (i) of the preceding paragraph, the provisions of Article 112, paragraph (3) of the New Ordinance do not apply until the last day of the deemed designation period pertaining to those employment development promotion areas, etc.

前項第一号に該当する雇用開発促進地域等については、当該雇用開発促進地域等に係るみなし指定期間の末日までの間、新規則第百十二条第三項の規定は、適用しない。

The provisions of the preceding two paragraphs do not apply to a specified employer prescribed in Article 112, paragraph (2), item (ii), (a) of the New Ordinance.

前二項の規定は、新規則第百十二条第二項第二号イに規定する特定事業主については、適用しない。
