Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act

①With regard to the payment of the grant for securing employment of elderly persons under Article 103 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Ordinance") to an employer that, before the day on which this Ministerial Order comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), implemented the employment extension system prescribed in Article 105 of the Former Ordinance, the provisions then in force continue to govern until December 31, 1994.

②With regard to the payment of the grant for promoting employment of persons retired at mandatory retirement age, etc. under Article 103 of the Former Ordinance pertaining to the hiring, before the Effective Date, of a person prescribed in Article 106 of the Former Ordinance, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

③With regard to the payment of the special incentive for employment of elderly persons under Article 103 of the Former Ordinance to an employer that, before the Effective Date, pursuant to the provision of Article 107, paragraph (1), item (i), (a) of the Former Ordinance or the provision of item (ii), (a) of that paragraph, submitted the workplace improvement plan for elderly persons prescribed in item (i), (a) of that paragraph or the plan for establishing a place of business for elderly persons prescribed in item (ii), (a) of that paragraph to the Central Employment Stabilization Center for Elderly Persons prescribed in item (i), (a) of that paragraph, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

④With regard to the payment of the grant for the ability development promotion project for small and medium-sized enterprise associations under Article 121, item (i) of the Former Ordinance to a small and medium-sized enterprise employers' association or its federation that, before the Effective Date, became eligible to receive payment of the grant for the ability development promotion project for small and medium-sized enterprise associations pursuant to Article 122 of the Former Ordinance, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑤Educational training designated by the Minister of Labour pursuant to Article 139-3 of the Former Ordinance before the Effective Date is deemed to be educational training designated by the Minister of Labour pursuant to Article 139-3 of the New Ordinance.

⑥With regard to the payment of the incentive for course attendance by elderly workers, etc. under Article 138, item (iii) of the Former Ordinance pertaining to educational training prescribed in Article 139-3 of the Former Ordinance commenced before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑦For the application of Article 140, item (x) of the New Ordinance, advice, guidance, and other assistance concerning the improvement of the management of matters relating to employment, such as the recruitment, hiring, and placement of workers prescribed in Article 140, item (x) of the Former Ordinance, provided before the Effective Date by an employers' organization prescribed in that item or its federation, is deemed to be advice, guidance, and other assistance concerning the improvement of the management of matters relating to employment, such as the recruitment, hiring, and placement of workers prescribed in Article 140, item (x) of the New Ordinance, provided on or after the Effective Date by a small and medium-sized enterprise employers' association prescribed in that item or its federation.
