Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act, etc.

①With regard to the payment of the support benefit for job-seeking activities, etc. under Article 102-5, paragraph (2) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter in this Article referred to as the "former Employment Insurance Ordinance") or the re-employment support benefit under paragraph (3) of that Article to an employer that, before the Effective Date of this Ministerial Order (hereinafter in this Article referred to as the "Effective Date"), prepared the re-employment assistance plan prescribed in Article 24, paragraph (1) or Article 25, paragraph (1) of the Employment Measures Act and received certification from the Chief of the Public Employment Security Office pursuant to Article 24, paragraph (3) or Article 25, paragraph (1) of that Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

②With regard to the payment of the labor mobility support system development incentive under Article 102-5, paragraph (4) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance to a small and medium-sized enterprise employers' association or federation thereof that came to put a system in place pursuant to that paragraph before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

③With regard to the payment of the settlement course support benefit under Article 102-5, paragraph (5) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance pertaining to hiring on a day before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

④With regard to the payment of the support benefit for job-seeking activities under Article 102-5, paragraph (6) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance (including where applied with replaced terms pursuant to Article 17-5 of the Supplementary Provisions of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance) or the benefit for utilizing re-employment support companies under paragraph (7) of that Article (including where applied with replaced terms pursuant to Article 15-6 of the Supplementary Provisions of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance) to an employer that, before the Effective Date, submitted the basic re-employment assistance plan prescribed in item (i), (a) of paragraph (6) of that Article to the Chief of the Public Employment Security Office, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑤With regard to the payment of the re-employment support system development incentive under Article 102-5, paragraph (8) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance to a small and medium-sized enterprise employers' association or federation thereof that came to put a system in place pursuant to that paragraph before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑥With regard to the payment of the benefit for accepting employed job-seeking elderly persons, etc. under Article 102-5, paragraph (9) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance (including where applied with replaced terms pursuant to Article 15-7 of the Supplementary Provisions of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance) pertaining to hiring on a day before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑦With regard to the payment of the nursing leave system introduction incentive in the case where it became possible, before the Effective Date, to receive payment of that incentive, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑧With regard to the payment of the year-round employment stabilization benefit under Article 113, paragraph (1) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance to an employer that came to be able to receive payment of that benefit pursuant to that paragraph before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑨With regard to the payment of the grant for promotion of information-related human resources development projects under Article 122-3, paragraph (3) of the former Employment Insurance Ordinance in the case where a new business support organization prescribed in paragraph (2) of that Article conducted, before the Effective Date, vocational training in information processing (limited to that which falls under an information-related human resources development project), the provisions then in force continue to govern.

⑩To an employer that has, during the period until March 15, 2007, become entitled to receive payment of the year-round employment stabilization benefit pursuant to Article 16, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act after amendment (hereinafter referred to as the "New Ordinance"), that year-round employment stabilization benefit may be paid on or after March 16 of that year as well, notwithstanding that paragraph.

⑪To an employer that has, during the period until May 31, 2007, become entitled to receive payment of the winter employment stabilization incentive pursuant to Article 17, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Ordinance, that winter employment stabilization incentive may be paid on or after June 1 of that year as well, notwithstanding paragraph (1) of that Article.

⑫To an employer, an employers' association, or a worker that has, during the period until March 31, 2007, become entitled to receive payment of the winter skill training course subsidy benefit pursuant to Article 17-2, paragraph (3) or (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Ordinance, that winter skill training course subsidy benefit may be paid on or after April 1 of that year as well, notwithstanding paragraph (1) of that Article.
