With regard to the application of Article 118, paragraph (2) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment by the Ministerial Order Partially Amending the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act, etc. (Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare No. 71 of 2006) to the payment of the grant for improving employment management in small and medium-sized enterprises for which the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to Article 2, paragraph (18) of the Supplementary Provisions of that Ministerial Order, the phrase "the head of the Employment and Human Resources Development Organization of Japan, Independent Administrative Agency (hereinafter referred to as the 'Organization')" in Article 118, paragraph (2), item (i) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment by that Ministerial Order is to be read as "the Director of the Prefectural Labor Bureau".
