Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Ministerial Order comes into effect as of the date of promulgation and applies as from April 1, 1988.
この省令は、公布の日から施行し、昭和六十三年四月一日から適用する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act
第二条（雇用保険法施行規則の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to the monthly amount of the commuting allowance and the monthly amount of the lodging allowance for months on or before March 1988, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
昭和六十三年三月以前の月分に係る通所手当及び寄宿手当の月額については、なお従前の例による。
For the application of Article 102-3, paragraph (1), item (ii), (a), (5) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act after amendment (hereinafter referred to as the "New Ordinance"), leave, educational training or vocational training conducted before the day on which this Ministerial Order comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), among that conducted in the base period for determination in which the Effective Date falls (meaning the base period for determination prescribed in Article 102-3, paragraph (1), item (ii), (a), (5) of the New Ordinance; the same applies hereinafter in this Article), is deemed to be leave, educational training or vocational training conducted after the Effective Date.
改正後の雇用保険法施行規則（以下「新規則」という。）第百二条の三第一項第二号イ（５）の規定の適用については、この省令の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）の属する判定基礎期間（新規則第百二条の三第一項第二号イ（５）に規定する判定基礎期間をいう。以下この条において同じ。）における休業、教育訓練又は職業訓練のうち施行日前に行われた休業、教育訓練又は職業訓練は、施行日後に行われた休業、教育訓練又は職業訓練とみなす。
With regard to the payment of the grant for short-time employment of elderly persons under Article 105-3 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act before amendment (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Ordinance") pertaining to hiring on a day before April 1, 1988, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
昭和六十三年四月一日前の日における雇入れに係る改正前の雇用保険法施行規則（以下「旧規則」という。）第百五条の三の高年齢者短時間雇用助成金の支給については、なお従前の例による。
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 16, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Ordinance, with regard to the amount of the employment adjustment grant for leave or educational training conducted, in a base period for determination preceding or including the base period for determination in which the Effective Date falls, by an employer falling under Article 102-3, paragraph (1), item (i), (a) through (e) of the Former Ordinance, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Ordinance, with regard to the amount of the employment adjustment grant for a secondment made, in a payment period preceding or including the payment period in which the Effective Date falls (meaning the payment period prescribed in Article 102-3, paragraph (2), item (iii) of the New Ordinance; the same applies hereinafter in this paragraph), by an employer falling under Article 102-3, paragraph (1), item (i), (a) through (e) of the Former Ordinance, of insured persons subject to secondment prescribed in item (ii), (c) of that paragraph, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
