The administrative work relating to the payment of the old-age basic pension, disability basic pension and survivors' basic pension prescribed in Article 1, paragraph (1), items (i) through (iii) that are specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (hereinafter referred to as "basic pensions paid by mutual aid associations") may be made to be performed by a mutual aid association (in the case of a mutual aid association that organizes the Federation of National Public Service Personnel Mutual Aid Associations or the National Federation of Mutual Aid Associations for Municipal Personnel, that Federation or that National Federation, respectively) or the Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation for Private Schools of Japan (hereinafter referred to as "mutual aid associations, etc.").
