第一条（施行期日）
Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
この省令は、平成十二年四月一日から施行する。ただし、第六十七条第一項の改正規定は公布の日から施行する。
This Ministerial Ordinance comes into effect as of April 1, 2000; provided, however, that the provisions amending Article 67, paragraph (1) come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
第二条（経過措置）
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures
平成十四年三月三十一日（以下「基準日」という。）においてその労働時間についてこの省令による改正後の労働基準法施行規則（以下「新規則」という。）第六十七条第一項の規定が適用されている労働者に関しては、基準日を含む一週間に係る労働時間については、同項の規定の例による。
With respect to a worker to whose working hours the provisions of Article 67, paragraph (1) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Labor Standards Act as amended by this Ministerial Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the "new Rules") apply as of March 31, 2002 (hereinafter referred to as the "base date"), the working hours pertaining to the week that includes the base date are governed by the provisions of that paragraph.
基準日において使用者が新規則第六十七条第二項の規定により労働させることとしている労働者に関しては、同項に規定する協定による、又は就業規則その他これに準ずるものによる定めをしている一箇月以内の一定の期間のうち基準日を含むものに係る労働時間については、同項の規定の例による。
With respect to a worker whom, as of the base date, an employer has arranged to have work pursuant to the provisions of Article 67, paragraph (2) of the new Rules, the working hours pertaining to the fixed period of not more than one month specified by an agreement prescribed in that paragraph or by the rules of employment or an equivalent instrument that includes the base date are governed by the provisions of that paragraph.
