第一条（施行期日）
Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
This Act comes into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year and six months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions listed in the following items come into effect as of the date specified in the respective items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
The provisions of Article 4, paragraph (13) and Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
The provisions of Article 1, the following Article, and Article 17 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation;
The provisions of Article 3, and Article 7, Article 9 through Article 11, and Article 16 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three years from the date of promulgation.
第三条並びに附則第七条、第九条から第十一条まで及び第十六条の規定 公布の日から起算して三年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
罰則の適用に関する経過措置
この法律（附則第一条第二号及び第三号に掲げる規定については、当該規定）の施行前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
課徴金に関する経過措置
第一条の規定による改正後の金融商品取引法（以下この条において「新金融商品取引法」という。）第百七十二条の十二の規定は、前条第二号に掲げる規定の施行の日（以下この条において「第二号施行日」という。）以後に開始する新金融商品取引法第百七十二条の十二第一項に規定する特定関与行為について適用する。
委託者保護基金に関する経過措置
特定業務を行おうとする委託者保護基金は、施行日前においても、特定業務を行うための定款及び業務規程の変更、第一項の認可の申請、特定会員となろうとする者による同項の申出の受理その他特定業務を行うために必要な行為をすることができる。
