Supplementary Provisions, Article 8, paragraph (1)
第二条の規定による改正後の入管法（以下「新入管法」という。）第十九条の七の規定は、この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）以後に新入管法第十九条の六に規定する上陸許可の証印又は許可を受けて中長期在留者となった者について適用する。
The provisions of Article 19-7 of the Immigration Control Act as amended by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Immigration Control Act") apply to a person who, on or after the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), has become a mid- to long-term resident upon being granted a seal of verification for landing or permission prescribed in Article 19-6 of the New Immigration Control Act.
