附 則
Supplementary Provisions
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を経過した日から施行する。
This Act comes into effect as of the day on which 6 months have elapsed from the date of promulgation.
この法律の施行前に改正前の出入国管理及び難民認定法第二十四条各号（第四号オからヨまでを除く。）の一に該当して本邦からの退去を強制された者に対する改正後の出入国管理及び難民認定法（次項において「新法」という。）第五条第一項に規定する上陸の拒否については、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the denial of landing prescribed in Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "New Act" in the following paragraph) for a person who was deported from Japan before this Act comes into effect for falling under any of the items of Article 24 (excluding item (iv), sub-items (l) through (o)) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act prior to its amendment, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
新法第七十条第二項の罪を犯した者がこの法律の施行前から引き続き本邦に在留していたときは、情状により、その刑を免除することができる。
If a person who has committed the crime under Article 70, paragraph (2) of the New Act has continuously resided in Japan since before this Act came into effect, the punishment may be remitted in light of the circumstances.
