附 則
Supplementary Provisions
この法律は、難民の地位に関する条約又は難民の地位に関する議定書が日本国について効力を生ずる日から施行する。
This Act comes into effect as of the date on which the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees or the Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees enters into force with respect to Japan.
この法律の施行の際に本邦にいる外国人（この法律の施行後に、難民となる事由が生じたことを知つた者を除く。）に係るこの法律による改正後の出入国管理及び難民認定法（次項において「入管法」という。）第六十一条の二第一項の申請の期限は、同条第二項の規定にかかわらず、この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）から起算して六十日を経過する日とする。
Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (2) of Article 61-2 of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Immigration Control Act" in the following paragraph), the time limit for the application under paragraph (1) of that Article by a foreign national who is in Japan at the time this Act comes into effect (excluding a person who came to know, after this Act comes into effect, that the grounds for becoming a refugee had arisen) is the day on which 60 days have elapsed from the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date").
入管法第七十条の二の規定は、この法律の施行前に犯した同条に掲げる罪についても、適用する。この場合において、同条ただし書中「当該罪に係る行為をした後遅滞なく」とあるのは、「難民の地位に関する条約等への加入に伴う出入国管理令その他関係法律の整備に関する法律の施行の日から二十日以内に」とする。
The provisions of Article 70-2 of the Immigration Control Act also apply to the crimes set forth in that Article that were committed before this Act comes into effect. In this case, the phrase "without delay after having committed the act pertaining to the crime" in the proviso to that Article is replaced with "within 20 days from the date on which the Act on the Development of the Immigration Control Order and Other Relevant Acts Incidental to Accession to the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, etc. comes into effect".
