附 則
Supplementary Provisions
この法律は、公布の日から起算して八月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 8 months from the date of promulgation.
この法律の施行の際に、改正前の出入国管理令（以下「旧令」という。）第四条第一項第四号に該当する者としての在留資格を有する者は、改正後の出入国管理令（以下「新令」という。）第四条第一項第四号に該当する者としての在留資格を有するものとみなし、旧令第四条第一項第三号に該当する者としての在留資格を有する者の在留資格及び在留期間については、なお従前の例による。
A person who, at the time this Act comes into effect, has a status of residence as a person falling under Article 4, paragraph (1), item (iv) of the Immigration Control Order prior to its amendment (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Order") is deemed to have a status of residence as a person falling under Article 4, paragraph (1), item (iv) of the Immigration Control Order as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "New Order"), and with regard to the status of residence and period of stay of a person who has a status of residence as a person falling under Article 4, paragraph (1), item (iii) of the Former Order, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前に旧令第十四条から第十六条まで及び第十八条の許可を受けて上陸した者に係る当該上陸の許可の効力（これらの者に係る船舶等の長の義務を含む。）については、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the effect of the permission for landing granted to persons who landed with the permission under Articles 14 through 16 and Article 18 of the Former Order before this Act comes into effect (including the obligations of the captain of the vessel or aircraft with regard to those persons), the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前に旧令第二十六条の規定により与えられた再入国の許可については、なお従前の例による。
With regard to re-entry permission granted pursuant to the provisions of Article 26 of the Former Order before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前にした旧令第二十条から第二十二条の二まで及び第二十六条の規定による申請は、新令の適用については、新令の相当規定による申請とみなす。
An application filed pursuant to the provisions of Articles 20 through 22-2 and Article 26 of the Former Order before this Act comes into effect is, for the purpose of applying the New Order, deemed to be an application filed pursuant to the corresponding provisions of the New Order.
新令第二十四条第四号チの規定は、この法律の施行前に覚せい剤取締法に違反して有罪の判決を受けた者には、適用しない。
The provisions of Article 24, item (iv), sub-item (h) of the New Order do not apply to a person who was convicted of a violation of the Stimulants Control Act before this Act comes into effect.
この法律の施行前にした行為並びに附則第二項及び第三項の規定により従前の例によることとされる在留資格及び在留期間又は上陸の特例に係るこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act comes into effect, and to acts committed after this Act comes into effect in relation to a status of residence and period of stay or a special case of landing for which the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of paragraphs (2) and (3) of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
