第五十五条の十二（委員会に対する情報の提供及び委員の視察等）
Article 55-12Provision of Information to the Committee and Visits by Members, etc.
The director of the immigration detention center, etc. is to provide the Committee with information on the state of operation of the immigration detention center, etc., periodically or as necessary, pursuant to Ministry of Justice Order.
委員会は、入国者収容所等の運営の状況を把握するため、委員による入国者収容所等の視察をすることができる。この場合において、委員会は、必要があると認めるときは、入国者収容所長等に対し、委員による被収容者との面接の実施について協力を求めることができる。
In order to ascertain the state of operation of immigration detention centers, etc., the Committee may have its members visit immigration detention centers, etc. In this case, the Committee may, if it finds it necessary, request the cooperation of the director of the immigration detention center, etc. in conducting interviews with detainees by its members.
The director of the immigration detention center, etc. must provide necessary cooperation for the visits and interviews set forth in the preceding paragraph.
第五十五条の六十第一項、第五十五条の六十一及び第五十五条の六十二の規定にかかわらず、被収容者が委員会に対して提出する書面については、検査し、又はその提出を差し止め、若しくは制限してはならない。
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 55-60, paragraph (1), Article 55-61 and Article 55-62, documents that a detainee submits to the Committee must not be inspected, and their submission must not be stopped or restricted.
