Supplementary Provisions
第一条（施行期日）
Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
The provisions of this Act come into effect on the dates specified in the following items, according to the categories set forth in those items:
この法律の規定は、次の各号に掲げる区分に従い、それぞれ当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Articles 1 through 4, the provisions of Article 7 (limited to the provisions amending Article 3 and Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 92 of 1973; hereinafter referred to as "Act No. 92"), the provisions deleting Article 6-2 of those Supplementary Provisions, the provisions amending Article 8, Article 10 and Article 22 of those Supplementary Provisions, and the provisions deleting Article 22-2 of those Supplementary Provisions), and the provisions of the following Article through Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions, Articles 24 through 27 of the Supplementary Provisions, and Articles 34 through 36 of the Supplementary Provisions: August 1, 1976;

For the amount of Child Rearing Allowance for the months on or before September 1976, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
昭和五十一年九月以前の月分の児童扶養手当の額については、なお従前の例による。
第十条
Supplementary Provisions, Article 10
Until March 31, 1978, the phrase "a person before the completion of compulsory education" in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Child Rearing Allowance Act is deemed to be replaced with "a person born on or after April 2, 1960, a person before the completion of compulsory education".
昭和五十三年三月三十一日までの間においては、児童扶養手当法第三条第一項中「義務教育終了前」とあるのは、「昭和三十五年四月二日以後に生まれた者、義務教育終了前」と読み替えるものとする。
If a person who, on October 1, 1976, actually has custody of or is raising a person who is newly treated as a child prescribed in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Child Rearing Allowance Act by reason of that paragraph being applied with the replacement of words under the preceding paragraph receives certification on a claim for certification under Article 6, paragraph (1) or Article 8, paragraph (1) of that Act made during that month, payment of Child Rearing Allowance to that person or the revision of its amount is to be made from that month, notwithstanding Article 7, paragraph (1) or Article 8, paragraph (1) of that Act.
第二十四条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Supplementary Provisions, Article 24Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary incidental to the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
定義第三条第一項・法令全体に適用
十八歳に達する日以後の最初の三月三十一日までの間にある者又は二十歳未満で政令で定める程度の障害の状態にある者
