Supplementary Provisions, Article 13Special Provisions on the Additional Pension of a Specified Recipient
第十三条（特定受給者の付加年金の特例）
The special additional premium-paid period (meaning, among the specified periods eligible for additional premiums, the specified period eligible for additional premiums that was treated, as of the item (vii) effective date, as a premium-paid period pertaining to the additional premium) held by a person who has a specified period eligible for additional premiums and who, as of the item (vii) effective date, is receiving an additional pension on the basis that that specified period eligible for additional premiums is a premium-paid period pertaining to the additional premium (including a person for whom payment of the whole of the additional pension is suspended; referred to as a "specified recipient" in the following paragraph) is, when applying the provisions of the National Pension Act and other laws and regulations specified by Cabinet Order (limited to those relating to the additional pension), deemed to be a premium-paid period pertaining to the additional premium until the specified additional premium payment deadline.
With respect to the additional pension of a specified recipient, except where the pension amount has been revised under the provisions of paragraph (5) of the preceding Article, the pension amount is revised in the month following the month in which the specified additional premium payment deadline falls.
特定受給者の付加年金については、前条第五項の規定により改定された場合を除き、特定付加保険料納付期限日の属する月の翌月に、年金額を改定する。
