Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items:
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

第二条（検討）
The government is to, promptly after this Act comes into effect, taking into account the status of the enforcement, etc. of this Act, from the viewpoint of further advancing efforts to make the public pension system a system that is sustainable over the long term, further strengthening the guarantee function in response to changes in social and economic conditions, and securing fairness between and within generations, review the matters listed in the items of Article 6, paragraph (2) of the Act on the Promotion of Reform to Establish a Sustainable Social Security System (Act No. 112 of 2013) and other necessary matters (excluding the matters specified in the following paragraph) concerning the public pension system and systems related to it, and take necessary measures based on the results of that review.
政府は、この法律の施行後速やかに、この法律の施行の状況等を勘案し、公的年金制度を長期的に持続可能な制度とする取組を更に進め、社会経済情勢の変化に対応した保障機能を一層強化し、並びに世代間及び世代内の公平性を確保する観点から、公的年金制度及びこれに関連する制度について、持続可能な社会保障制度の確立を図るための改革の推進に関する法律（平成二十五年法律第百十二号）第六条第二項各号に掲げる事項その他必要な事項（次項に定める事項を除く。）について検討を加え、その結果に基づいて必要な措置を講ずるものとする。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Concerning the Revision of the Revision Rate
第三条（改定率の改定に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 27-5 of the National Pension Act after the amendment under the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to in this Article and the following Article as the "amended National Pension Act") (including the case where, in the amended National Pension Act or another law or regulation, the provisions of that Article are cited, applied mutatis mutandis, or applied by way of example; the same applies hereinafter in this Article) to a person for whom the base fiscal year prescribed in Article 27-3, paragraph (1) of the amended National Pension Act is before fiscal year 2018, the term "is the base fiscal year" in Article 27-5, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the amended National Pension Act is deemed to be replaced with "is fiscal year 2018"; the term "in the base fiscal year" in paragraph (3), item (i) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "in fiscal year 2018"; and the term "the base fiscal year" in sub-item (a) of that item is deemed to be replaced with "fiscal year 2018".
第一条の規定による改正後の国民年金法（以下この条及び次条において「改正後国民年金法」という。）第二十七条の三第一項に規定する基準年度が平成三十年度前である者に対する改正後国民年金法第二十七条の五（改正後国民年金法又は他の法令において、同条の規定を引用し、準用し、又はその例による場合を含む。以下この条において同じ。）の規定の適用については、改正後国民年金法第二十七条の五第一項第二号中「基準年度である」とあるのは「平成三十年度である」と、同条第三項第一号中「基準年度における」とあるのは「平成三十年度における」と、同号イ中「基準年度」とあるのは「平成三十年度」とする。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 4Transitional Measures Concerning Exemption from National Pension Premiums
第四条（国民年金保険料の免除に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 88-2 of the amended National Pension Act apply to the premium prescribed in Article 87, paragraph (1) of the National Pension Act pertaining to a period on and after April 2019.
改正後国民年金法第八十八条の二の規定は、平成三十一年四月以後の期間に係る国民年金法第八十七条第一項に規定する保険料について適用する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 18Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
第十八条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
