This Ministerial Order comes into effect as of June 24, 2013.

When the notification under Article 19-17 of the Immigration Control Act pertains to a mid- to long-term resident who holds an alien registration certificate prescribed in the Alien Registration Act (Act No. 125 of 1952) prior to its repeal by the provisions of Article 4 of the Act Partially Amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan, and Other Matters (Act No. 79 of 2009; referred to as "the amending Act" in this Article) during the period specified in each item of Article 15, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act, the phrase "this Ministerial Order" in Article 61-3, paragraph (3) of the new Regulation is deemed to be replaced with "Article 19-16, paragraph (2) and Appended Table III (4), and Article 9, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Ministerial Order on the Arrangement of Ministerial Orders Related to the Ministry of Justice and on Transitional Measures upon the Enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan, and Other Matters (Ministry of Justice Order No. 43 of 2011)".
