Supplementary Provisions, Article 9Transitional Measures Concerning Exemption from Premiums of the National Pension
第九条（国民年金保険料の免除に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 89, paragraph (2) of the National Pension Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 1 also apply to premiums, among the premiums that were treated as not required to be paid pursuant to the provisions of Article 89 of the National Pension Act before the revision by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to in this Article as "premiums exempted by law before the amendment"), that pertain to a period on or after the month in which the item (iv) effective date falls, and the provisions then in force continue to govern premiums, among the premiums exempted by law before the amendment, that pertain to a period before the month in which the item (iv) effective date falls.
第一条の規定による改正後の国民年金法第八十九条第二項の規定は、第一条の規定による改正前の国民年金法第八十九条の規定により納付することを要しないものとされた保険料（以下この条において「改正前法定免除保険料」という。）のうち、第四号施行日の属する月以後の期間に係る保険料についても適用し、改正前法定免除保険料のうち、第四号施行日の属する月前の期間に係る保険料については、なお従前の例による。
