Supplementary Provisions, Article 2, paragraph (1)
この法律による改正後の労働基準法（以下この条において「新法」という。）第百十四条及び第百四十三条第二項の規定は、この法律の施行の日（以下この条において「施行日」という。）以後に新法第百十四条に規定する違反がある場合における付加金の支払に係る請求について適用し、施行日前にこの法律による改正前の労働基準法第百十四条に規定する違反があった場合における付加金の支払に係る請求については、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 114 and Article 143, paragraph (2) of the Labor Standards Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act" in this Article) apply to a claim for payment of additional monies in the case where a violation prescribed in Article 114 of the new Act occurs on or after the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as "the effective date" in this Article), and with regard to a claim for payment of additional monies in the case where a violation prescribed in Article 114 of the Labor Standards Act prior to amendment by this Act occurred before the effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
