Supplementary Provisions, Article 6
第六条
The country of nationality prescribed in Article 19-4, paragraph (1), item (i) of the Immigration Control Act or the region prescribed in Article 2, item (v), sub-item (b) of the Immigration Control Act (hereinafter referred to as "nationality or region" in this Article) in the case of issuing a residence card pursuant to the provisions of Article 13, paragraph (6), Article 15, paragraph (4) or Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act is, for a mid- to long-term resident who holds two or more nationalities other than Japanese nationality, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 19-6, paragraph (2) of the new Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control Act, to be stated as the nationality or region specified in each of the following items in accordance with the category listed in that item:
改正法附則第十三条第六項、第十五条第四項又は第十六条第三項の規定により在留カードを交付する場合における入管法第十九条の四第一項第一号に規定する国籍の属する国又は入管法第二条第五号ロに規定する地域（以下この条において「国籍・地域」という。）は、日本の国籍以外の二以上の国籍を有する中長期在留者については、新入管法施行規則第十九条の六第二項の規定にかかわらず、次の各号に掲げる区分に応じ、それぞれ当該各号に定める国籍・地域を記載するものとする。
in the case of issuing a residence card pursuant to the provisions of Article 13, paragraph (6) or Article 15, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act: the nationality or region stated in the registration certificate of the mid- to long-term resident;
改正法附則第十三条第六項又は第十五条第四項の規定により在留カードを交付する場合 当該中長期在留者の登録証明書の記載に係る国籍・地域
in the case of issuing a residence card pursuant to the provisions of Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act: the nationality of the country that issued the passport in which the status of residence currently held by the mid- to long-term resident is stated, or the region prescribed in Article 2, item (v), sub-item (b) of the Immigration Control Act to which the organ that issued that passport belongs (if the status of residence has been stated in a certificate of status of residence, the nationality or region stated in that certificate of status of residence).
改正法附則第十六条第三項の規定により在留カードを交付する場合 当該中長期在留者が現に有する在留資格が記載された旅券を発行した国の国籍又は機関の属する入管法第二条第五号ロに規定する地域（在留資格が在留資格証明書に記載された場合にあっては、当該在留資格証明書の記載に係る国籍・地域）
