①If the materials listed in the right-hand column of Appended Table III of the new Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control Act that are to be submitted pursuant to the provisions of Article 6, Article 6-2, paragraph (2), Article 20, paragraph (2) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 24, paragraph (5)) or Article 21-2, paragraph (3) as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 21-3, paragraph (3) of the new Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control Act pertain to a mid- to long-term resident who has received, pursuant to the provisions of Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act, a notation in their passport to the effect that a residence card will be issued at a later date (excluding a person who has been issued a residence card; hereinafter referred to as a "mid- to long-term resident to be issued a residence card later"), the phrase "residence card" in item (i), sub-item (b), item (ii), sub-item (b) and item (iii), sub-item (b) of the right-hand column of the row for "Investor/Business Manager" in that Table is deemed to be replaced with "passport".

②If the materials listed in the right-hand column of Appended Table III (5) of the new Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control Act that are to be submitted pursuant to the provisions of Article 21, paragraph (2) or Article 21-2, paragraph (3) of the new Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control Act pertain to a mid- to long-term resident to be issued a residence card later, the phrase "residence card" in item (ii) of the right-hand column of the row for "Investor/Business Manager" in that Table is deemed to be replaced with "passport".
