The provisions of Article 18, paragraph (5) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Pension Amendment Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 4 apply to a person who, as of the day preceding the item (iv) effective date, does not fall under any of the items of Article 28, paragraph (2) of the National Pension Act as read with the terms replaced pursuant to the provisions of that paragraph; provided, however, that, with regard to the application of the provisions of Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Pension Amendment Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 4 to a person who, before the item (iv) effective date, falls under any of the items of Article 28, paragraph (2) of the National Pension Act as read with the terms replaced pursuant to the provisions of Article 18, paragraph (5) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Pension Amendment Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 4, the phrase "'has elapsed', 'has elapsed' for 'the age of 70', 'if' for 'if, except where the provisions of the following paragraph apply', 'that paragraph' for 'the preceding paragraph', 'the age of 70', and 'the day' for 'is deemed to be'" in paragraph (5) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "the day", and the phrase "the day on which that notification was made" in paragraph (3) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "the day on which the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iv) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the National Pension Act, etc. to Strengthen, etc. the Financial Basis and Minimum Guarantee Function of the Public Pension System (Act No. 62 of 2012) come into effect".
