この法律は、公布の日から施行する。

この法律による改正前の第五十三条第一項の規定による老齢福祉年金は、この法律による改正後の第七十九条の二第一項の規定による老齢福祉年金とみなす。

昭和三十七年五月一日前に母子福祉年金又は準母子福祉年金の受給権を取得し、同日まで引き続きその受給権を有する者については、同月から、その額をこの法律による改正後の第六十三条第一項（第六十四条の四において準用する場合を含む。）の規定によつて計算した額に改定する。

この法律による改正後の第六十五条第六項及び第六十七条第二項（第七十九条の二第六項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、昭和三十六年以降の年の所得による障害福祉年金、母子福祉年金、準母子福祉年金及び老齢福祉年金の支給の停止について適用し、昭和三十五年以前の年の所得によるこれらの福祉年金の支給の停止については、なお従前の例による。

この法律による改正後の第四十七条、第六十五条第三項から第五項まで（第七十九条の二第六項において準用する場合を含む。）及び第八十三条第二項の規定は、昭和三十七年十月以降の月分の遺児年金並びに障害福祉年金、母子福祉年金、準母子福祉年金及び老齢福祉年金について適用し、同年九月以前の月分の遺児年金及びこれらの福祉年金についてのこれらの条項に規定する事由による支給の停止及び裁定の請求については、なお従前の例による。
