①For the time being, for the purpose of applying the provisions of Article 14 and Article 14-2, the phrase "insured person" in Article 14 is deemed to be replaced with "insured person (excluding a category 2 insured person who is a category 2 employees' pension insured person, a category 3 employees' pension insured person or a category 4 employees' pension insured person; the same applies in the following Article)".

②For the time being, with respect to the period during which a person was an insured person of that Employees' Pension Insurance, for a person who intends to receive the application of the provisions of Article 26, Article 30, paragraph (1), Article 30-2, paragraph (1), Article 30-3, paragraph (1), Article 34, paragraph (4), the proviso to Article 36, paragraph (2), Article 37, Article 9-2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions, or Article 9-2-2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions with respect to, among the periods during which the person was a category 2 insured person, the category 2 employees' pension insured period prescribed in Article 2-5, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "category 2 employees' pension insured period"), the category 3 employees' pension insured period prescribed in item (iii) of that paragraph (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "category 3 employees' pension insured period"), or the category 4 employees' pension insured period prescribed in item (iv) of that paragraph (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "category 4 employees' pension insured period"), it is governed by the confirmation received from the Federation of National Public Officers Mutual Aid Associations for the category 2 employees' pension insured period, the confirmation received from the Local Public Officers Mutual Aid Association for the category 3 employees' pension insured period, and the confirmation received from the Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation for Private Schools of Japan for the category 4 employees' pension insured period.

③A person who has an objection to a disposition concerning a confirmation under the provisions of the preceding paragraph may, as provided for in Article 90, paragraph (2) and paragraphs (4) through (6) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, make a request for review to the reviewing body specified in the items of paragraph (2) of that Article.

④In the case referred to in paragraph (2), an objection to a disposition concerning a confirmation under the provisions of that paragraph relating to the category 2 employees' pension insured period, the category 3 employees' pension insured period or the category 4 employees' pension insured period may not be made a ground for an objection to a disposition concerning an old-age basic pension, disability basic pension or survivors' basic pension based on the period during which the person was an insured person of that Employees' Pension Insurance.
