Supplementary Provisions, Article 8Transitional Measures Concerning the Survivors' Basic Pension
第八条（遺族基礎年金に関する経過措置）
The provisions concerning the survivors' basic pension in the National Pension Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 1 apply to an insured person, or a person who was an insured person, prescribed in Article 37, paragraph (1) of the National Pension Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 1, who dies on or after the day on which the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect, and the provisions then in force continue to govern the matters concerning the requirement for payment pertaining to an insured person, or a person who was an insured person, prescribed in that paragraph who died before that day.
第一条の規定による改正後の国民年金法中遺族基礎年金に関する規定は、附則第一条第三号に掲げる規定の施行の日以後に死亡した第一条の規定による改正後の国民年金法第三十七条第一項に規定する被保険者又は被保険者であった者について適用し、同日前に死亡した同項に規定する被保険者又は被保険者であった者に係る支給要件に関する事項については、なお従前の例による。
