第十八条

国民年金の被保険者又は被保険者であつた者（国民年金法による老齢年金及び通算老齢年金の受給権者を除く。）は、都道府県知事に申し出て、昭和四十八年四月一日前のその者の国民年金の被保険者期間（同法第七十五条第一項、附則第六条第一項及び附則第七条第一項並びに法律第八十六号附則第十五条第一項の規定による被保険者に係る被保険者期間を除く。）のうち、国民年金の保険料納付済期間及び保険料免除期間以外の期間（当該期間に係る国民年金の保険料を徴収する権利が時効によつて消滅している期間に限る。）について、一月につき九百円を納付することができる。

前項の規定による納付は、昭和五十年十二月三十一日（同日以前に六十五歳に達する者にあつては、六十五歳に達する日の前日）までに行なわなければならない。

第一項の規定による納付は、さきに経過した月の分から順次行なうものとする。

第一項の規定により納付が行なわれたときは、納付が行なわれた日に、納付に係る月の国民年金の保険料が納付されたものとみなす。
