Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year and three months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified respectively in those items:
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年三月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

the provisions in Article 2 amending Article 2, paragraph (7) of the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (limited to the part adding "except where, as of the date of application under Article 16-2, paragraph (1), the person’s age is less than the age specified by the competent ministry order" after "is recorded," in that paragraph, and the part amending "Article 17, paragraph (5)" to "Article 17, paragraph (6)" in item (ii) of that paragraph), the provisions amending Article 16-2 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 17 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 18-2 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 38-8, paragraph (1) of that Act, and the provisions amending Article 44 of that Act, and the provisions of Article 5, Article 6, and Articles 8 through 12, and the following Article of the Supplementary Provisions, and the provisions of Article 15, Article 16, Article 18, Articles 22 through 25, and Article 27 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year and six months from the date of promulgation.
第二条中行政手続における特定の個人を識別するための番号の利用等に関する法律第二条第七項の改正規定（同項中「記載され、」の下に「第十六条の二第一項の申請の日において本人の年齢が主務省令で定める年齢に満たない場合を除き」を加える部分及び同項第二号中「第十七条第五項」を「第十七条第六項」に改める部分に限る。）、同法第十六条の二の改正規定、同法第十七条の改正規定、同法第十八条の二の改正規定、同法第三十八条の八第一項の改正規定及び同法第四十四条の改正規定並びに第五条、第六条及び第八条から第十二条までの規定並びに次条並びに附則第十五条、第十六条、第十八条、第二十二条から第二十五条まで及び第二十七条の規定 公布の日から起算して一年六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
