A written application for issuance of a certificate of eligibility in Appended Form No. 6-3, a written application for permission for a change of status of residence in Appended Form No. 30 or a written application for permission for extension of the period of stay in Appended Form No. 30-2 prescribed in the former Regulation is deemed, except in cases where the provisions of Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions apply, for the time being, even after the effective date, to be a written application for issuance of a certificate of eligibility in Appended Form No. 6-3, a written application for permission for a change of status of residence in Appended Form No. 30 or a written application for permission for extension of the period of stay in Appended Form No. 30-2, respectively, prescribed in the new Regulation.
