Supplementary Provisions, Article 5Preparatory Acts Concerning Registration of Registered Midwives
第五条（登録助産師の登録に係る準備行為）
A midwife seeking the registration referred to in Article 98-4 of the item (vi) New Health Insurance Act may, even before the item (vi) Effective Date, file the application in the same manner as under the provisions of Article 98-12, paragraph (1) of the item (vi) New Health Insurance Act.
第六号新健康保険法第九十八条の四の登録を受けようとする助産師は、第六号施行日前においても、第六号新健康保険法第九十八条の十二第一項の規定の例により、その申請を行うことができる。
In the case where an application is filed pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare may, even before the item (vi) Effective Date, grant the registration in the same manner as under the provisions of Article 98-4, Article 98-12, paragraphs (2) and (3) and Article 98-18 of the item (vi) New Health Insurance Act. In this case, the registration is deemed to have been made on the item (vi) Effective Date pursuant to the provisions of Article 98-4 of the item (vi) New Health Insurance Act.
The authority of the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare under the provisions of the preceding paragraph may be delegated to the chief of a regional bureau of health and welfare as specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
前項の規定による厚生労働大臣の権限は、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、地方厚生局長に委任することができる。
The authority delegated to the chief of a regional bureau of health and welfare pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph may be delegated to a branch manager of the regional bureau of health and welfare as specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
前項の規定により地方厚生局長に委任された権限は、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、地方厚生支局長に委任することができる。
