Supplementary Provisions, Article 4Preparatory Acts Concerning Designation of Designated Birthing Centers
第四条（指定助産所の指定に係る準備行為）
A birthing center seeking the designation referred to in Article 98-2, paragraph (1), item (i) of the item (vi) New Health Insurance Act may, even before the item (vi) Effective Date, file its application in the same manner as under the provisions of Article 98-6, paragraph (1) of the item (vi) New Health Insurance Act.
第六号新健康保険法第九十八条の二第一項第一号の指定を受けようとする助産所は、第六号施行日前においても、第六号新健康保険法第九十八条の六第一項の規定の例により、その申請を行うことができる。
In the case where an application is filed pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare may, even before the item (vi) Effective Date, grant the designation in the same manner as under the provisions of Article 98-2, paragraph (1), item (i), Article 98-6, paragraph (2), Article 98-7, Article 98-17, paragraph (2) and Article 98-18 of the item (vi) New Health Insurance Act. In this case, the designation is deemed to have been made on the item (vi) Effective Date pursuant to the provisions of that item.
The authority of the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare under the provisions of the preceding paragraph may be delegated to the chief of a regional bureau of health and welfare as specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
前項の規定による厚生労働大臣の権限は、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、地方厚生局長に委任することができる。
The authority delegated to the chief of a regional bureau of health and welfare pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph may be delegated to a branch manager of the regional bureau of health and welfare as specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
前項の規定により地方厚生局長に委任された権限は、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、地方厚生支局長に委任することができる。
