Supplementary Provisions, Article 14
第十四条
With regard to a hospital or clinic that, at the time of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (i) of the Supplementary Provisions, has actually received designation under Article 43-3, paragraph (1) of the Former Health Insurance Act, in relation to the beds of that hospital or clinic that have received the permission under Article 7, paragraphs (1) through (3) of the Medical Care Act (Act No. 205 of 1948) and that actually exist at the time of enforcement of the provisions set forth in that item, it is deemed to have received designation as a medical institution providing services covered by health insurance under the provisions of Article 43-3, paragraph (1) of the Health Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 4 (hereinafter referred to as the "Revised Health Insurance Act").
附則第一条第一号に掲げる規定の施行の際現に旧健保法第四十三条ノ三第一項の指定を受けている病院又は診療所については、医療法（昭和二十三年法律第二百五号）第七条第一項から第三項までの許可を受けている当該病院又は診療所の病床であって同号に掲げる規定の施行の際現に存するものに関し、第四条の規定による改正後の健康保険法（以下「新健保法」という。）第四十三条ノ三第一項の規定による保険医療機関の指定を受けたものとみなす。
