Supplementary Provisions, Article 2, paragraph (1)

第一項

For a worker who has been in continuous service for more than six months before the date on which this Ministerial Ordinance comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "effective date"), for whom a day other than April 1 is the base date (meaning the day following the day on which the period of continuous service prescribed in Article 39, paragraph (1) of the Labor Standards Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") ends; the same applies hereinafter in this Article), and whose prescribed working hours per week are 30 hours or more but less than 35 hours, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 24-3, paragraph (1) of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Labor Standards Act after the amendment (hereinafter referred to as the "new Rules"), the provisions then in force continue to govern the hours specified by order referred to in Article 39, paragraph (3) of the Act until the day preceding the first base date after the effective date.

この省令の施行の日(以下「施行日」という。)前に六箇月を超えて継続勤務している労働者であって四月一日以外の日が基準日労働基準法(以下「法」という。)第三十九条第一項に定める継続勤務の期間の終了する日の翌日をいう。以下この条において同じ。)であるもののうち一週間の所定労働時間が三十時間以上三十五時間未満のものに係る法第三十九条第三項の命令で定める時間は、施行日後の最初の基準日の前日までの間は、改正後の労働基準法施行規則(以下「新規則」という。)第二十四条の三第一項の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
