Supplementary Provisions, Article 9Preparation Prior to Enforcement of Provisions Concerning Payment, etc. of Dietary Treatment Expenses for Inpatients and Medical Expenses for Home-Nursing
第九条（入院時食事療養費及び訪問看護療養費の支給等に関する規定の施行前の準備）
When the Minister of Health and Welfare intends to specify the amount of standard co-payment prescribed in Article 43-17, paragraph (2) of the Revised Health Insurance Act, the Ministry of Health and Welfare Order under Article 44-8, paragraph (1) of the Revised Health Insurance Act and the standards for the operation of the business of designated home nursing prescribed in paragraph (2) of that Article (excluding the part concerning the handling of designated home nursing), and other matters concerning the outline of the implementation of the system based on the Revised Health Insurance Act, the Minister may consult the council specified by Cabinet Order prescribed in Article 1-2 of the Revised Health Insurance Act even before the Effective Date.
When the Minister of Health and Welfare intends to specify the standards in Article 43-17, paragraph (2) of the Revised Health Insurance Act, the Ministry of Health and Welfare Order under Article 43-4, paragraph (1) and Article 43-6, paragraph (1) of the Revised Health Insurance Act as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to paragraph (9) of that Article, the provisions prescribed in Article 44-4, paragraph (4) of the Revised Health Insurance Act, and the standards for the operation of the business of designated home nursing prescribed in Article 44-8, paragraph (2) of the Revised Health Insurance Act (limited to the part concerning the handling of designated home nursing), the Minister may consult the Central Social Insurance Medical Council even before the Effective Date.
