Supplementary Provisions, Article 12Transitional Measures Concerning Light Oil Delivery Tax

①The provisions of Article 700-4, paragraph (1), item (i) of the New Act apply to light oil delivery tax to be imposed on the consumption of light oil on or after the Effective Date, and the provisions then in force continue to govern light oil delivery tax imposed on the consumption of light oil before the Effective Date.

②The provisions of Article 700-14-2 of the New Act apply to light oil delivery tax to be imposed on the sale of fuel hydrocarbon oil under Article 700-3, paragraph (3) of the New Act, the sale of light oil or fuel hydrocarbon oil under paragraph (4) of that Article, the consumption of hydrocarbon oil under paragraph (5) of that Article, and the consumption or transfer of light oil under the items of Article 700-4, paragraph (1) of the New Act that take place on or after the Effective Date, and to light oil delivery tax to be imposed where, on or after the Effective Date, a special collection agent for light oil delivery tax comes to fall under Article 700-3, paragraph (6) of the New Act.

③The provisions of Article 700-22-5, paragraphs (1) through (4) and Article 700-24, paragraph (1), items (ii) through (iv) of the New Act apply to the taking delivery, handing over, supply, manufacture and import of light oil on or after the Effective Date, and the provisions then in force continue to govern the taking delivery, handing over, supply, manufacture and import of light oil before the Effective Date.
