Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date on which the amendment of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer adopted on June 29, 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the "Protocol") takes effect for Japan (hereinafter referred to as the "Protocol amendment effective date") (or, if the Protocol amendment effective date is after July 1, 1992, the date specified by Cabinet Order).
この法律は、平成二年六月二十九日に採択されたオゾン層を破壊する物質に関するモントリオール議定書（以下「議定書」という。）の改正が日本国について効力を生ずる日（以下「議定書改正発効日」という。）（議定書改正発効日が平成四年七月一日後となる場合には、政令で定める日）から施行する。
