第三十条
With regard to the first determination of the insurance premium rate for each prefecture after the establishment of JHIA, the provisions of Article 160, paragraphs (6) through (8) of the Health Insurance Act as Amended in October 2008 apply mutatis mutandis. In this case, the phrase "that prefecture" in paragraph (6) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "each prefecture", and the phrase "Other than when being asked for an opinion referred to in the preceding paragraph, when the chief of a branch office finds it necessary to change the insurance premium rate for a prefecture" in paragraph (7) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "When being asked for an opinion referred to in the preceding paragraph".
協会の成立後最初の都道府県単位保険料率の決定については、平成二十年十月改正健保法第百六十条第六項から第八項までの規定を準用する。この場合において、同条第六項中「当該変更に係る都道府県」とあるのは「各都道府県」と、同条第七項中「前項の意見を求められた場合のほか、都道府県単位保険料率の変更が必要と認める場合」とあるのは「前項の意見を求められた場合」と読み替えるものとする。
