第四条
To apply Article 97-2, paragraph (1), item (iii) of the New Act to a person falling under the category of a specified holder of an expired license as prescribed in Article 97-2, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Former Act if the circumstances due to which that person could not take the driver's license arose prior to the day of promulgation of this Act, the phrase "if it has been less than one month since the date on which those compelling circumstances came to an end, but only if it has been less than three years since the expiration date" is deemed to be replaced with "if it has been less than one month since the date on which those compelling circumstances came to an end".
旧法第九十七条の二第一項第二号に規定する特定失効者に該当する者であってその運転免許試験を受けることができなかった事情がこの法律の公布の日前に生じたものに対する新法第九十七条の二第一項第三号の規定の適用については、同号中「当該効力を失つた日から起算して三年を経過しない場合に限り、当該事情」とあるのは、「当該事情」とする。
