Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Health Insurance Act
第三条（健康保険法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 47, paragraph (2) of the Health Insurance Act as revised by the provisions of Article 1 apply to a person who loses eligibility as an insured person pursuant to the provisions of Article 36 of the Health Insurance Act on or after the date of enforcement of this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), and with respect to a person who lost eligibility as an insured person pursuant to the provisions of that Article before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
第一条の規定による改正後の健康保険法第四十七条第二項の規定は、この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）以後に健康保険法第三十六条の規定により被保険者の資格を喪失した者について適用し、施行日前に同条の規定により被保険者の資格を喪失した者については、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 99, paragraph (4) of the Health Insurance Act as revised by the provisions of Article 1 apply to injury and sickness allowance for which one year and six months, counted from the day on which payment started, have not elapsed on the day preceding the Effective Date, and with respect to injury and sickness allowance for which the payment period prescribed in Article 99, paragraph (4) of the Health Insurance Act prior to revision by the provisions of Article 1 expired before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
第一条の規定による改正後の健康保険法第九十九条第四項の規定は、施行日の前日において、支給を始めた日から起算して一年六月を経過していない傷病手当金について適用し、施行日前に第一条の規定による改正前の健康保険法第九十九条第四項に規定する支給期間が満了した傷病手当金については、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 159 of the Health Insurance Act as revised by the provisions of Article 1 apply to childcare leave prescribed in Article 43-2, paragraph (1) of the Health Insurance Act that commences on or after the date of enforcement of the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions (hereinafter referred to as the "item (iii) Effective Date"), and with respect to childcare leave prescribed in that paragraph that commenced before the item (iii) Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
第一条の規定による改正後の健康保険法第百五十九条の規定は、附則第一条第三号に掲げる規定の施行の日（以下「第三号施行日」という。）以後に開始する健康保険法第四十三条の二第一項に規定する育児休業等について適用し、第三号施行日前に開始した同項に規定する育児休業等については、なお従前の例による。
