少年並びにその保護者、法定代理人、保佐補助人、配偶者、直系の親族及び兄弟姉妹は、家庭裁判所の許可を受けて、付添人を選任することができる。ただし、弁護士を付添人に選任するには、家庭裁判所の許可を要しない。
A juvenile or a parent or guardian, legal representative, curatorassistant, spouse, lineal relative, or sibling of a juvenile may, with the family court's permission, appoint an attendant; provided, however, that no permission is needed to appoint an attorney-at-law as the attendant.
民法等改正法附則第二条第一項の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる同項に規定する成年被後見人、成年後見人及び成年後見監督人並びに民法等改正法附則第三条第一項の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる同項に規定する被保佐人、保佐人及び保佐監督人については、この法律による改正後のそれぞれの法律の規定（これらの規定を他の法律において準用する場合を含む。）にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
Notwithstanding the provisions of the respective Acts as amended by this Act (including where those provisions apply mutatis mutandis under other Acts), the provisions then in force continue to govern an adult ward, adult guardian, and adult guardian's supervisor prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Civil Code, etc. Amendment Act for whom the provisions then in force are to continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of that paragraph, and a person under curatorship, curator, and curator supervisor prescribed in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Civil Code, etc. Amendment Act for whom the provisions then in force are to continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of that paragraph.
この法律の施行前にした行為及び民法等改正法附則第二条第一項又は第三条第一項の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合におけるこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the application of penal provisions to an act committed before this Act comes into effect and an act committed after this Act comes into effect in a case where the provisions then in force are to continue to govern pursuant to Article 2, paragraph (1) or Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Civil Code, etc. Amendment Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
