第五条（放置車両に関する経過措置）
Prior laws continue to govern marks that are attached to a vehicle pursuant to Article 51, paragraph (3) of the Road Traffic Act before its amendment by Article 3, before that Article comes into force.
第三条の規定の施行前に同条の規定による改正前の道路交通法第五十一条第三項の規定により車両に取り付けられた標章については、なお従前の例による。
Notwithstanding Article 75-2, paragraph (1) of the Road Traffic Act after Article 3 comes into force, prior laws continue to govern cases in which a person engages in the conduct set forth in Article 75, paragraph (1), item (vii) of the Road Traffic Act before its amendment by Article 3 (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 75-8, paragraph (3) that Act) before Article 3 comes into force with regard to a vehicle for which instructions have been given pursuant to Article 51-4 of that Act.
第三条の規定の施行前に、同条の規定による改正前の道路交通法第五十一条の四（同法第七十五条の八第三項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定によりされた指示に係る車両につき同法第七十五条第一項第七号に掲げる行為が行われた場合については、第三条の規定による改正後の道路交通法第七十五条の二第一項の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
