第三十六条
With regard to premiums under the new National Pension Act for the months from April 1986 to March 1987, the phrase "6,800 yen" in Article 87, paragraph (4) of that Act is deemed to be replaced with "6,800 yen (or, where the ratio of the annual average price index for 1985 to the fiscal year average price index for fiscal 1983 (meaning the national consumer price index prepared by the Management and Coordination Agency or the national consumer price index prepared by the Prime Minister's Office; the same applies hereinafter in this paragraph) exceeds 1, the amount obtained by multiplying 6,800 yen by that ratio, and if a fraction of less than 50 yen arises in that amount, it is to be rounded down, and if a fraction of 50 yen or more but less than 100 yen arises, it is to be rounded up to 100 yen)".
昭和六十一年四月から昭和六十二年三月までの月分の新国民年金法による保険料については、同法第八十七条第四項中「六千八百円」とあるのは、「六千八百円（昭和五十八年度の年度平均の物価指数（総務庁において作成する全国消費者物価指数又は総理府において作成した全国消費者物価指数をいう。以下この項において同じ。）に対する昭和六十年の年平均の物価指数の割合が一を超えるときは、その割合を六千八百円に乗じて得た額とし、その額に五十円未満の端数が生じたときはこれを切り捨て、五十円以上百円未満の端数が生じたときはこれを百円に切り上げるものとする。）」と読み替えるものとする。

Supplementary Provisions, Article 37
第三十七条
Of the premiums under the new National Pension Act for the months up to March 1989, with regard to the due date for payment of the premiums of insured persons of the National Pension who have an address in the area of a municipality that a prefectural governor, finding that there are unavoidable circumstances, has approved with a time limit specified, relating to the period up to that time limit, the provisions of Articles 91 and 92 of the new National Pension Act do not apply, and the provisions then in force continue to govern.
平成元年三月までの月分の新国民年金法による保険料のうち、都道府県知事がやむを得ない事情があると認めて期限を定めて承認した市町村の区域に住所を有する国民年金の被保険者の当該期限までの期間に係る保険料の納期限については、新国民年金法第九十一条及び第九十二条の規定を適用せず、なお従前の例によるものとする。

第三十八条
The provisions then in force continue to govern the retroactive payment of premiums under the former National Pension Act for periods before the Effective Date.
施行日前の期間に係る旧国民年金法による保険料の追納については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 38-2
第三十八条の二
Of the reserve fund of the National Pension Account of the National Pension Special Account under the National Pension Special Account Act (Act No. 63 of 1961), prior to its repeal by the provisions of Article 66, item (xxiii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act on Special Accounts (Act No. 23 of 2007), as of the day before the Effective Date (excluding the portion relating to the premiums prescribed in Article 87-2, paragraph (1) of the former National Pension Act), the portion calculated, as specified by Cabinet Order, as the portion relating to the premium-paid periods, for the periods concerned, of persons who are spouses of the persons listed in Article 7, paragraph (2), item (i) of the former National Pension Act and who at the same time have periods during which they were insured persons under the provisions of Article 6, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the former National Pension Act (including the investment income arising from that portion, and excluding the portion specified by Cabinet Order) may, as specified by Cabinet Order, be applied to the expenses required for the basic pension benefit in each fiscal year.
施行日の前日における特別会計に関する法律（平成十九年法律第二十三号）附則第六十六条第二十三号の規定による廃止前の国民年金特別会計法（昭和三十六年法律第六十三号）に基づく国民年金特別会計の国民年金勘定の積立金（旧国民年金法第八十七条の二第一項に規定する保険料に係る部分を除く。）のうち旧国民年金法第七条第二項第一号に掲げる者の配偶者であつて同時に旧国民年金法附則第六条第一項の規定による被保険者であつた期間を有する者の当該期間に係る保険料納付済期間に係る部分として政令で定めるところにより算定した部分（当該部分から生じる運用収入を含み、政令で定める部分を除く。）については、政令で定めるところにより、各年度における基礎年金の給付に要する費用に充てることができる。
Of the amount applied to the expenses required for the basic pension benefit pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the portion equivalent to the amount calculated for each of the government and implementing bodies, as specified by Cabinet Order, is deemed to be the basic pension contribution borne or paid by each of the government and implementing bodies in that fiscal year pursuant to the provisions of Article 94-2, paragraph (1) or (2) of the National Pension Act.
The calculation of the amount of the reserve fund prescribed in paragraph (1) is specified by Cabinet Order.
The necessary replacement of terms in connection with the application of the provisions of the Act on Special Accounts in a fiscal year in which the calculated portion prescribed in paragraph (1) is applied to the expenses required for the basic pension benefit pursuant to the provisions of that paragraph is specified by Cabinet Order.

第九十条（船員保険の厚生年金保険への統合に伴う費用負担の特例等）
Of the benefits paid as a pension to persons for whom the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of Article 28 of the Supplementary Provisions of the new Employees' Pension Insurance Act, those specified by Cabinet Order are paid, on and after the Effective Date, as insurance benefits paid as a pension under the provisions of the former Employees' Pension Insurance Act (including insurance benefits for which the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of Article 16 of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act).
Necessary matters incidental to the measures under the preceding paragraph are specified by Cabinet Order.
前項の措置に伴い必要な事項は、政令で定める。
