①In the case where a person under 60 years of age (limited to a person born on or before April 1, 1946) who has a period as an insured mine worker prescribed in Article 7-3, paragraph (1), item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act (hereinafter simply referred to as an "insured mine worker") or a period as a mariner insured prescribed in that item (hereinafter simply referred to as a "mariner insured") comes to fall under all of the following items, an employees' old-age pension under Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act is paid to that person, deeming that person to fall under that Article.

②With regard to the calculation of the period as an insured mine worker or the period as a mariner insured prescribed in the preceding paragraph, the provisions of Article 9-4, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act apply mutatis mutandis.
