Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date, etc.
第一条（施行期日等）
This Act comes into effect on September 1, 1982; provided, however, that the provisions of Article 2 and Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect on the date of promulgation.
この法律は、昭和五十七年九月一日から施行する。ただし、第二条及び附則第五条の規定は、公布の日から施行する。
The provisions of Article 22-2 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 92 of 1973; hereinafter referred to as "Act No. 92") as amended by the provisions of Article 2, and the provisions of Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions apply from July 1, 1982 (or, for the portion relating to benefits in the form of a pension under the National Pension Act, from August 1 of that year).

第五条（年金額の改定措置の特例）
With regard to pension insurance benefits under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act (Act No. 115 of 1954), pension insurance benefits under the Mariners Insurance Act (Act No. 73 of 1939) and benefits in the form of a pension under the National Pension Act, as prescribed in Article 22, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of Act No. 92, in the case where the price index prescribed in that paragraph for fiscal year 1981 has come to exceed 100 percent and to be 105 percent or less of the price index prescribed in that paragraph for fiscal year 1980, the government must take measures to revise the amounts of those pension insurance benefits or benefits in the form of a pension from July 1982 (or, for benefits in the form of a pension under the National Pension Act, from August of that year) onward, based on the rate of that increase.
The measures under the provisions of the preceding paragraph are specified by Cabinet Order.
前項の規定による措置は、政令で定める。
When measures to revise the amounts of insurance benefits paid as a pension or benefits paid as a pension have been taken pursuant to the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, measures to revise the amounts of insurance benefits paid as a pension or benefits paid as a pension under Article 22 of the Supplementary Provisions of Act No. 92 are deemed to have been taken, for the purpose of applying the provisions of Article 87, paragraph (3) of the National Pension Act as replaced pursuant to the provisions of Article 22, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of Act No. 92 and Article 53, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 82 of 1980).
前二項の規定により年金たる保険給付又は年金たる給付の額を改定する措置が講ぜられたときは、法律第九十二号附則第二十二条第一項及び厚生年金保険法等の一部を改正する法律（昭和五十五年法律第八十二号）附則第五十三条第一項の規定により読み替えられた国民年金法第八十七条第三項の規定の適用については、法律第九十二号附則第二十二条の規定による年金たる保険給付又は年金たる給付の額を改定する措置が講ぜられたものとみなす。
Measures to revise the amounts of pension insurance benefits or benefits in the form of a pension under the provisions of paragraphs (1) and (2) are deemed to be measures to revise the amounts of pension insurance benefits or benefits in the form of a pension under the provisions of Article 22 of the Supplementary Provisions of Act No. 92, for the purpose of applying the provisions of the following Acts:
Article 10 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Act on the Revision of the Amounts of Pensions from National Public Servants Mutual Aid Associations, etc. from Fiscal Year 1967 Onward, etc. (Act No. 94 of 1974);
昭和四十二年度以後における国家公務員共済組合等からの年金の額の改定に関する法律等の一部を改正する法律（昭和四十九年法律第九十四号）附則第十条
