Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2002.
この法律は、平成十四年四月一日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act
第三条（厚生年金保険法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 38, paragraphs (1) and (2), Article 38-2, paragraphs (1) through (3) and Article 54-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as amended by Article 2 apply to pension insurance benefits under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act that are paid for months on or after the day on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), and the provisions then in force continue to govern pension insurance benefits under that Act that are paid for months before the Effective Date.
第二条の規定による改正後の厚生年金保険法第三十八条第一項及び第二項、第三十八条の二第一項から第三項まで並びに第五十四条の二の規定は、この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）以後の月分として支給される厚生年金保険法による年金たる保険給付について適用し、施行日前の月分として支給される同法による年金たる保険給付については、なお従前の例による。

第六十六条（罰則に関する経過措置）
The provisions then in force continue to govern the application of penal provisions to acts committed before the Effective Date.
施行日前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 67Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
第六十七条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary incidental to the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 73Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Revision of the Act Partially Amending the National Pension Act, etc.
第七十三条（国民年金法等の一部を改正する法律の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 8, paragraph (11) and Article 48, paragraph (7) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Pension, etc. Amendment Act after the revision under the provisions of the preceding Article (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "New Act") apply mutatis mutandis to a case where the right to collect the contribution of the former Agricultural and Forestry Mutual Aid Association, with respect to the period as a member of the former Agricultural and Forestry Mutual Aid Association, has been extinguished by prescription (excluding a case falling under the proviso to Article 18, paragraph (5) of the former Agricultural and Forestry Mutual Aid Act).
前条の規定による改正後の昭和六十年国民年金等改正法（以下この条において「新法」という。）附則第八条第十一項及び第四十八条第七項の規定は、旧農林共済組合員期間につき旧農林共済組合の掛金を徴収する権利が時効によって消滅した場合（旧農林共済法第十八条第五項ただし書に該当する場合を除く。）について準用する。
The provisions of Article 56, paragraphs (2) through (4) and paragraph (6) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act apply to pension insurance benefits under the pre-1985 Employees' Pension Insurance Act that are paid for months on or after the Effective Date (meaning pension insurance benefits under the pre-1985 Employees' Pension Insurance Act prescribed in paragraph (1) of that Article; the same applies hereinafter in this paragraph), and the provisions then in force continue to govern pension insurance benefits under the pre-1985 Employees' Pension Insurance Act that are paid for months before the Effective Date.
新法附則第五十六条第二項から第四項まで及び第六項の規定は、施行日以後の月分として支給される旧厚生年金保険法による年金たる保険給付（同条第一項に規定する旧厚生年金保険法による年金たる保険給付をいう。以下この項において同じ。）について適用し、施行日前の月分として支給される旧厚生年金保険法による年金たる保険給付については、なお従前の例による。
