Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
The provisions of this Act come into effect on the dates specified in the following items, according to the categories set forth in those items:
この法律の規定は、次の各号に掲げる区分に従い、それぞれ当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions in Article 3 amending Article 22-2 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 92 of 1973; hereinafter referred to as "Act No. 92"), and the provisions of Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
第三条中厚生年金保険法等の一部を改正する法律（昭和四十八年法律第九十二号。以下「法律第九十二号」という。）附則第二十二条の二の改正規定及び附則第八条の規定 公布の日

第三条（厚生年金保険法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to the amount to be added pursuant to the provisions of Article 62-2 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act for months on or before May 1979, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
昭和五十四年五月以前の月分の厚生年金保険法第六十二条の二の規定により加算する額については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 8Special Provisions on Measures to Revise Pension Amounts
第八条（年金額の改定措置の特例）
With regard to pension insurance benefits under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, pension insurance benefits under the Mariners Insurance Act and benefits in the form of a pension under the National Pension Act, as prescribed in Article 22, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of Act No. 92, in the case where the price index prescribed in that paragraph for fiscal year 1978 has come to exceed 100 percent and to be 105 percent or less of the price index prescribed in that paragraph for fiscal year 1977, the government must take measures to revise the amounts of those pension insurance benefits or benefits in the form of a pension from June 1979 (or, for benefits in the form of a pension under the National Pension Act, from July of that year) onward, based on the rate of that increase.
The measures under the provisions of the preceding paragraph are specified by Cabinet Order.
前項の規定による措置は、政令で定める。
When measures to revise the amounts of benefits in the form of a pension have been taken pursuant to the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, measures to revise the amounts of benefits in the form of a pension under the provisions of Article 22 of the Supplementary Provisions of Act No. 92 are deemed to have been taken, for the purpose of applying the provisions of Article 87, paragraph (3) of the National Pension Act as read by applying Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the National Pension Act, etc. (Act No. 46 of 1978).
前二項の規定により年金たる給付の額を改定する措置が講ぜられたときは、国民年金法等の一部を改正する法律（昭和五十三年法律第四十六号）附則第三条第一項の規定により読み替えられた国民年金法第八十七条第三項の規定の適用については、法律第九十二号附則第二十二条の規定による年金たる給付の額を改定する措置が講ぜられたものとみなす。
Measures to revise the amounts of pension insurance benefits or benefits in the form of a pension under the provisions of paragraphs (1) and (2) are deemed to be measures to revise the amounts of pension insurance benefits or benefits in the form of a pension under the provisions of Article 22 of the Supplementary Provisions of Act No. 92, for the purpose of applying the provisions of the following Acts:
Article 10 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Act on the Revision of the Amounts of Pensions from National Public Servants Mutual Aid Associations, etc. from Fiscal Year 1967 Onward, etc. (Act No. 94 of 1974);
昭和四十二年度以後における国家公務員共済組合等からの年金の額の改定に関する法律等の一部を改正する法律（昭和四十九年法律第九十四号）附則第十条
Article 15 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Act on the Revision, etc. of the Amounts of Pensions under the Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act from Fiscal Year 1967 Onward, etc. (Act No. 95 of 1974);
昭和四十二年度以後における地方公務員等共済組合法の年金の額の改定等に関する法律等の一部を改正する法律（昭和四十九年法律第九十五号）附則第十五条
